This growing area of approximately 25,000 residents is made up of several growing neighbourhoods including that of Fairview. Fairview boasts a complementary mix of older homes, buildings and streetscapes with newer builds, retail spaces and more growth on the way.
Much like other parts of Halifax and Dartmouth, Fairview has also seen a renewal for growth - a very likely result of the significantly lower rental rates compared to accommodations in the Halifax core and the fact the area is one of the fastest growing and ethnically diverse districts in the province. Fairview is also close to an extensive network of parks, walking trails, and recreation facilities - a bonus for growing families who enjoy the outdoors.
Residents of the Fairview, Halifax area have access to a number of major conveniences including the the Mainland North Common, a regional recreation facility that features a public library, a number of sports fields (including two indoor soccer fields) and the multi-purpose Canada Games Centre.

Bayer’s Lake is one of the largest business parks in Atlantic Canada and a premier destination for shopping, dining and entertainment.
